Client Testimonials

Bevan, SCADA Advisor

Eric is a very knowledgeable strength and conditioning coach. His knowledge and experience is multifaceted, as it extends into all areas of health and fitness. He is very committed, in other words, it isn’t just the service you get during a training session, but rather, is ongoing service and support with questions regarding fitness, nutrition, etc. In addition, he also has various information sources available e.g., his blog and a number of published articles. I would definitely recommend Eric!

Craig Pic   Eric did a fantastic job taking charge of the strength and conditioning program while at UW-Eau Claire. Eric was very detail oriented and tailored all of our workouts to be specific to our sport (wrestling). Eric even took   the time and effort to design specific workouts for me as I began my MMA career. My strength, agility, and flexibility have all increased dramatically due to the workouts Eric provided me with. It was a true privilege to have Eric as my strength and conditioning coach while at UW-Eau Claire and I would highly recommend him to any coach/athlete looking to improve their team/themselves in the area of strength, agility, and flexibility.

    Hey Eric,
Just poking around the blog, reading some of your thoughts, and making sure you are keeping it real (and myth-free as always!). Saw your ACE article the other day. Very impressed. I passed it along to Peg to use in the 357 class. Hope all is well.

This is awesome and what all trainers need to be doing!

Hey, tried that sadistic deadlift and ended up doing 50 in 10:43 (yeah, just didn’t feel like doing that last minute). Thoughts? I’m thinking next time just go heavier.

  5. Len says:

oops, the 335 was 3 sets of 3 reps, and the 225 was 3 sets of 5 reps.

    • I’m sure you are much stronger than 435 the way you destroyed 60% 1-Rm and the fatigue from squats before the deads. How do you periodize your deadlifts in training?
If performing the Sadiv sets I would increase your % used, try out 70% and go from there.
