Potentially dangerous chemicals in everyday household and personal items may be holding you back from reaching your potential. Why, What are they, and why do I care? Well these chemicals, also known as Endocrine Distruptors are stable substances put into everyday items due to their stability and longevity providing properties. Substances such as phthalates, BPA, phytoestrogens, and many more are found in everyday items such as cosmetics, food, clothing, furniture, water, soil, and plastics.
What’s the issue?
The issue is these substances disrupt the form and function or hormones. Estrogen and testosterone levels fluctuate to un-natural levels, thyroid gets all jacked up, allergies develop, CNS system fatigue increases, and metabolism is disrupted. Sound fun? I don’t think so either! Check out this link to Precision Nutrition to find all about these Endocrine Disruptors and how to protect both yourself and your loved ones.
